Welcome to Weiss Marine Outfitters. Located at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina on Patriot's Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC.  We offer many charter trips to for all age groups and all angler skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned fisherman, we can make your fishing experience one to remember. Targeting species such as redfish, trout, flounder, shark & tarpon.  We offer half day, both morning and afternoon, ¾ day and full day charters as well as after dark shark charters.

You won't need any permits. You won't need any equipment other than your food, drinks, sun block, sun glasses, hat and a willingness to have a great time!

All rates based on a 1-3 person charter. Add $50 for each additional angler.  Limit to 6 passengers.  License, bait, tackle, ice and water are included.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover.  Of course, we also take cash which is preferred.
Tips are encouraged and not included in price. 


Backcountry/ Flats Fishing Charter Rates for Charleston waters

Full Day  (8 hrs)   $600.00
3/4 Day    (6 hrs)   $500.00
Half Day (4 hrs)   $400.00

A $100 Deposit is required to reserve a charter in peak season. Group and Corporate trips, please call for reservation requirements.  72 Hour Cancellation policy. 

What To Bring
Capt. Weiss will provide you with a cooler full of ice, fishing licenses, and all the necessary equipment needed for a day on the water. He also will supply plenty of nice rods and reels. The lowcountry sun can be brutal, so make sure you bring your sun block, hat, and maybe a long sleeve shirt. When you’re out sight fishing, you need to be able to see the fish, so please bring your polarized sunglasses. Comfortable shoes should be worn. Because fishing tends to be so action packed, you will want to refuel your own tank, so please bring you own food and drinks. As do many of his fellow guides, Capt. Weiss promotes what he likes to call “CPR” fishing. What this means is that we Catch, Photograph, and Release the fish back into the water, so please bring your camera.
